I Guess Princesses Do Sleep

Kennedy is a very active princess. When she crashes, she's out for the count! I caught her even sleeping like a princess. aawwwwwwwwww

Pumpkin Patch Time

What a motley looking crew we are!! We could not have asked for a nicer day!

Cotton Candy at the Pumpkin Patch

The girls had their first experience with cotton candy. I think Kennedy enjoyed feeding our friends. It was Will's first experience too!

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the pumpkin patch with our friends, Justin, Sheila and Will. We had a blast. Lincoln picked out his first pumpkin.

My Three Little Pigs

Do Snakes Turn into Princes?

I know how the story goes. You kiss a frog and it turns into a prince. Well, Kennedy kissed a snake and nothing happened.

brrrrrrrrrr.........Sedona

Well, like any good mother, I forgot the to pack the sweaters for the girls but remembered to pack my coat, along with Paul's jacket. So........we froze for the first 15 minutes while the girls remained warm and toasty. Thankfully, it warmed up and everyone was shedding their jackets.

Bunch of Nerds

Sedona

Sedona was absolutely breath taking!!

Kennedy and the Butterfly

While in Sedona, Kennedy had her dream come true. She caught a butterfly. Unfortunately the poor thing was injured and couldn't get away from the curious princess. Yes, she wanted to keep as a pet but we freed the poor struggling thing. It was pretty cool though to see the awe on her face.

First Banana Split

Kennedy was looking through some cookbooks and found a picture of a banana split and asked for one. At that moment it occurred to me that they had never had one. So...we went to the store and picked out our toppings and came home to make good old fashioned banana splits. We even bought Neapolitan ice-cream!!

Kennedy Thinks It's Amazing

Mia Says Yummy

A Rose for You

Paul married a couple on Sunday and could not return without roses. When Kennedy found out that he was doing a wedding she begged for a rose. He called to tell me he was on his way home and she asked to speak to him. I had forgotten about the rose. When I put her on the phone with Paul she said "daddy do you have my rose?" Well, what was a dad to do then?? If he couldn't get one there he was gonna stop at the store. When he arrived home, the girls about tackled him for their roses. They carried them around all night and even wanted to sleep with them. I couldn't ask for a better husband/father. I guess I won the lottery!

Dancing with the Prince

I think that Kennedy figured that she must be a princess since she has a rose. She asked daddy to be her prince and dance with her. It was so precious and so completely heart melting. Daddy will always be her prince. Some guy is gonna have a tough time measuring up to daddy one day! He better be superman!

Daddy is a Prince

Mia was amazed at something so simple as a rose.

A Fun Day with Daddy

Paul took an extra day off last week so we jammed it full of fun stuff. We first hit the pool, then the park, and finally a picnic at home. As you can see, Mia loves to swim. She lacks any hesitation. She is our little fish!!

Kenendy Swimming??

Yes, Kennedy can swim but prefers not too. She actually a very good swimmer but extremely hesitant. I think she doesn't want to get her hair wet or something. I'm not sure, can't really figure it out. We usually have to bribe her into going under the water. hahahah

We ended the day with a picnic on the floor at home. Awww......what a good day.
